Delicate ceramic cups and plates with hand painted designs in traditional patterns. These are a smaller size, which fits well with the fine texture of the pottery and the detailed designs.
The cups are available in 2 colours - either blue/green or multicoloured. Each cup is 8 cm(3.5”) high.
The flat plates are available in blue/green and are 14 cm (5.5”) across the diameter. The plate can be used flat, or it has a small hole in the back so it can be hung on the wall.
Each item is sold individually

Now, more than ever, the handicraft industry in the Bethlehem area is in danger of disappearing. This is a direct result of three things: constant political unrest, the resulting decline in tourism, and more generalized economic hardship resulting from the occupation.
Presently, because of the low number of pilgrims visiting the region and the very low production of handicrafts, factory owners are no longer able to secure sufficient income to support their families
The Holy Land Handicraft Cooperative Society is adopting a strategy to open the international market as a means to counter the devastating decline in the local handicraft industry. During the first period of its existence, the Cooperative Society focused its efforts on the establishment and expansion of its own shop as a vital instrument to support members and small workshop owners. Bulk purchasing of raw materials enabled the Cooperative to purchase at lower prices and then pass this dividend on to its members.

Global Village Nanaimo uses Canada Post for shipping, unless special arrangements are made. Our shipping rates are effective for anywhere in Canada.
Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.
If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
