Tara’s mission is to practice fairness in its production and trading activities for the development of marginalized sections of society,  while ensuring social equity and environmental sustainability. The Organization is committed to follow the Fair Trade Standards developed by World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Look for more high quality, fair trade products that are made with reused materials from this supplier.

Global Village Nanaimo uses Canada Post for shipping, unless special arrangements are made.

We are a non-profit social enterprise, and we work within a fair trade pricing model to ensure we are able to support the vendors. That means that we need to charge fees to cover the costs of the shipping. We do not charge any handling costs, and we will continue to offer the most reasonable shipping costs possible, in order to cover the costs.
