The material used for this bag is repurposed fish food bags. They are durable, breathable, clean and colourful. Ideally suited for everything from groceries to wet beach towels to recyclables to garden materials. Just rinse it out and use it again.
The bags are all white on the outside and blue on the inside - 2 layers of materials. However, the print and the designs are all slightly different due to different words being and logos on the material. The black strap is securely stitched from top to bottom of the bag, and across the bottom as well, giving it extra reinforcement.
The bag is 47 cm tall, 45 cm wide and has a gusset that is 17 cm wide

This large bag is made by one of the artisans who are part of a Fair Trade Co-operative in Vietnam. Mai Vietnamese Handicrafts is an income generating and educational project for poor and disadvantaged women. It provides employment and training as well as promoting self-reliance amongst disadvantaged families and ethnic minorities in Southern Vietnam.
Beside this activity, Mai has established itself as the primary marketing agent for neglected women in the rural area by active product development and by selling Vietnamese handicrafts product to export and local market.

Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.
If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
