These baskets are the result of years of practice, tremendous technical skill and quality assurance. The weavers from Bolgatanga, Ghana spend countless hours stripping and dyeing elephant grass fibre and weaving them into patterns and colourways that are unique. Baskets this large are not easy to find, and are often family heirlooms.
The basket is biodegradable and resilient but will fade if left in the sun too long.
These baskets are ideal for many things, including storage of items like blankets, toys, shoes or yarn. The single handle makes it easy to tote the basket around, and move things to different rooms, different offices or to the holiday home!
The top of the basket is 20” across the diameter, and the sides are 11” high
The handles are all leather wrapped for comfort.

Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.
If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
