Nyariga Baskets - Ghana
These baskets are the result of years of practice, tremendous technical skill and quality assurance. The weavers from Bolgatanga, Ghana spend countless hours stripping and dyeing elephant grass fibres into patterns and colourways that are unique.
The basket is biodegradable and resilient but will fade if left in the sun too long.
The Larger Nyariga basket on the left in the photo is 36 cm tall to the top of the rim on the sides and 27 cm to the top of the rim in the centre and the opening is 36 cm x 31 cm.. The Smaller Nyariga basket on the right in the photo is 22 cm tall to the top of the rim on the sides and 18 cm to the top of the rim in the centre, and the opening is approximately 20 cm x 18 cm. The handles are all leather wrapped for comfort.

We do not charge any handling costs, and we will continue to offer the most reasonable shipping costs possible, in order to cover the costs.
