This basket is the result of years of practice, tremendous technical skill and quality assurance. The weavers from Bolgatanga, Ghana spend countless hours stripping and dyeing elephant grass fibres into patterns and colourways that are unique.
The basket is biodegradable and resilient but will fade if left in the sun too long.
These small oval baskets are approximately 13 cm to the top of the rim and the opening is approximately 26 cm x 15 cm. The handles are all leather wrapped for comfort.
