Small and medium sized baskets, ideal for fruit bowls, gift baskets, and many other uses. These have been made with Kaash Grass, which grows wild in areas of Asia, and is also used for paper production, floral arrangements and in Ayurvedic medicines.
These round basket are shallow with light lime green and light mint green grass embellilshments around the edges. The sizes of the baskets can vary a bit, depending on the individual weavers.
The medium sized basket is approx. 8 cm tall. The opening at the top is approx 21 - 22 cm across the diameter and the base is a bit narrower and is approx 10 cm across..
The small basket is approx. 7 cm tall and the opening is approx 13 - 15 cm across the top

These baskets have been hand crafted in India, by the artisans at Sasha. This is a fair trade group of producers who are working to maintain the skills and craftsmanship of their culture, while supporting poor and disadvantaged women.

Shipping costs are listed for each item on our website. If you are purchasing more than one item and we are able to ship them together more efficiently, we will refund the difference. We are really nice people, so we will do whatever we can to keep those costs as low as possible and we will send you a refund if we can.
If you would like to pick up your package in Nanaimo, B.C, select the "PICK UP " option and there will not be any shipping fees charged
